I was looking through the forum and there are quite a few people that have had similar problems. The response they were given is to submit a bug report. Someone can do them manually for you.

Here's where you can submit the bug report:

http://www.squidoo.com/pages/feedback

Just choose report a nasty bug as your option in the drop down menu for what kind of feedback you are submitting.

HTH,

Thanks Jackie. I posted on the Squidoo help forum yesterday and didn't get any responses. I also sent in a help request. Do you know how long it usually takes for a response after sending in a help request?

I know that these things happen but what has got me frustrated is that judging from the lack of responses on the forum this has never happened to anyone before. I keep asking myself if I missed a step by I know I didn't. I even have the lens transfer history showing that they all went through.

Try logging out of the new account and logging back in again. If that doesn't work your best bet is to ask in the forum or send a help request.

It has been several hours and they don't show up in the new account but I did all the steps, confirmed in the emails, and it even shows that they have all been accepted when I click on transfer history.

Is it showing up in the new account?

I find that they continue to show up in the old account ~ but when you click on them it takes you to a "you don't have access" page.

If they're showing up in the new acct I wouldn't worry about it.

Hey Jackie and Andrea,
I just transferred lenses to another account, accepted them and under the old account it shows that the transfer has completed. However the lenses are still showing up in my first Squidoo account. Is there sometimes a wait between the times that you transfer a lens and it shows up in another account?

Hi Hilda,

Congrats on completing your first lens ~ that's awesome!!

Unfortunately there just isn't time for us to look at everyone's lenses. We do offer one on one coaching at LearnitStepbyStep.com ~ where we can provide input on your individual lenses and campaigns.

In reference to adding video you need to grab a youtube module. Then you can add any youtube video that you like. If you have your own video you'll need to upload it to youtube, than add the url to the youtube module.

Hello Jackie and Andrea,

I just completed my very first squidoo lens, and I wanted to know how to add videos to my lenses. Also, can you please take a look at my lens and let me know all the areas that need improvement? I know I made plenty of mistakes with my first lens and I need all the help I can get.

P.S.: I have a copy of potpiegirl Squidoo 101 guide, but there's no information about how to add videos.

Thank you...Hilda!

Hi Susan -

People transfer lenses that they sell, that they want to give to a friend, or that they want living on it's own (themed) account).

May be other reasons - not sure?

You are a little over my head on this one. Would you please explain why someone would want to transfer a lense, and where, typically do people transfer them to?

Hi Jane,

Transferring means actually moving your lens to another account. It has nothing to do with what goes on your lens. This happens if you have test lens in your main account you want to move to a topic specific lens, or perhaps someone makes a lens for you then they can send it to your account.

Lensroll gives you a sidebar link to your other lens ~ just another way for people to click out to your own real estate.

Same thing with featured lens module ~ except it's in the content instead of the sidebar.

Jackie/Andrea -

A few questions:
-- what is the difference between lensroll, transfer and feature in Squidoo
-- is one more beneficial than the others
-- would all three be used on one webpage (I kinda doubt it)

Thank you,
Jane.
