Html can be a very confusing thing for the beginning internet marketer. It is a skill however that is important to know and be able to use.  Being able to do some html code allows you to build links back to your website, lens or anyplace you have content with the correct anchor text.

Here’s the basic html code to build a hypertext link:

<a href=”http://yoururlhere”>the keywords for your site here</a>

If you want to practice getting your html skills perfect here’s a great place to do it.

You will see some extra code on this site, but just don’t worry about it. Right now work on practicing your linkbuilding skills by adding your url and your keywords in the places provided.  Once you have your information in the code click the “edit and click me” button and it will make your links appear on the right hand side.

Make sure you’ve done it correctly by clicking the links you have made and see where you go!! Is it where you expected? Then you’ve created the link correctly.

You can also copy and paste the <a href . . . code and paste it where you need it to go.
