Can’t Find My Affiliate Code in Squidoo Amazon Modules

QWhen I use the Amazon modules at Squidoo I don’t see my affiliate code! Do I need to use affiliate links through my own Amazon account? Will I get paid if I use the Squidoo Amazon modules?

A. If you are not making a lot of sales through Amazon just use the modules at Squidoo. They will pay you 4% of the product sale value straight to your dashboard (they split the profits with you). You don’t have to worry about your affiliate  ID as Squidoo takes care of it all ~ which is one reason Squidoo is so easy.

If you are making a lot of sales through Amazon you probably want to use your own affiliate  ID, only because the more sales you make at Amazon the higher your commission percentage.  The first level is 4% so that’s the same as what you get through Squidoo’s links, but if you are making enough sales to increase your percentage then use your own links.

If you choose to use your own links from Amazon understand that you can’t use the regular image links they provide you at amazon because they use a script that Squidoo doesn’t allow.  (these are the ones that are a rectangle with the product image and price). You can click the text only link and get a link you can use in your text though.

You can also use Squidutils.com to make the nice looking Amazon image links ~ just insert your lensmaster ID and then click the amazon link section. Find the ISBN number of the product you want to make the link for at amazon and insert it where it’s asked for. Then pick if you want the image big or small and aligned right or left. This will then create an image with your link that looks just like the Amazon links. Then just grab the code and add it into your lens wherever you want it to show up.

    Hi Jackie and Andrea

For some odd reason, both in this blog and Learn it Step by Step lessons, when I do a print-out (which I like to do for some lessons),
the demo pics you show do not print-out, just the copy type. Do you know why this occurs and do you have any suggestions to solve the problem?
    Thanks and regards

    Hi Russell,

I’m not sure why you are unable to print. I tested it tonight and the images printed for me. Do you highlight the text you want and then click the selection button in your printing software so it will just print what you want? That seems to work for me.

Just a quick question and a bit of praise for your blog. It is really well done and very informative.

Do you know anything about cb-notify. Potpiegirl mentioned it and I cannot find anything on it. And she is out of commission right now.

    Thank you,

    Justin

PS. Keep up the great work.

    Hey Justin,

Thanks for the kind words. It seems there are a couple different things that do that, here’s the one I think she was talking about.

Thank you so much for this post. I use the reviewazon plugin. Reviewazon is the easy and simple way to add amazon affiliate product to your website.
