1.    Clear Purpose:

The first step is to have one singular very clear purpose for your page. In this instance it will most likely be to get the name and email address of the visitor. Remember the clear purpose of this page and don’t add anything that is going to distract from its purpose.

2.    Headlines filled with Benefits:

Now benefits and features are different things. Think about why your reader has come to your page, what problem do they want to solve. When you know that you will know the benefit of your product. For example: someone coming to these tutorials may want to understand the basics of internet marketing.

Our headline for our squeeze page is “How to Finally Puzzle Together a Money-Bringing Internet Marketing Strategy that Works for You” The benefit is people will finally be able to pull it all together and create a strategy that works. This is a really important step, not only for your squeeze page, but your business, understanding why people come to you is key.

3.    Simple page design:

Because this page is for one sole purpose you want to keep it very clean and simple. There’s no need for flashing lights, or banners, just tell them what benefits they will receive, and what they are getting in return.

4.    Make it flow:

Make sure you read and read and reread your page. You want it to flow. You want it to make sense. You want as few words as possible to get your point across.

5.    Call to action:

No matter what else you do on this page, you MUST have at least one call to action. This doesn’t have to be a huge blaring sign saying click here, but you do need to tell them exactly what they need to do.
