Hi Jackie and Andrea,
I want to change my theme. I already have a couple of posts on my existing theme. What will happen to those posts when I change the theme.

Nothing.
They will convert to the new theme with you doing nothing.

PPG has said that she likes the Dateless Sniper theme, which is 3 columns, but only has a right sidebar instead of center content. Is this a drawback? It does offer reference to dates removed, for sites you don’t want to update all the time. This seems like a great option, do any other themes offer this too?

Having right side side bars actually provides some benefit. The way the search engines read the page they see content first when your sidebars are both on the right side.
You can take dates off of any theme, but yes, dateless sniper doesn’t include dates so it is kind of a timeless site since no one knows when you wrote the content.
The theme, content, and keywords are much more important than the theme you choose though. Any theme will work if you’ve done your research well.
