Now that you are familiar with Wordpress we are going to go in and change a few things. Wordpress adds some default things that we don’t want, so we are going to delete and/or change them.

Oops! Need a bit of help with categories…can’t find the word uncategorized. Do I just type my key words in the box labeled category?
And could you explain the lines for posts…some day we may want to do a big blog, so what does that mean?

click the posts link on the left hand side. When it opens up you will see categories in that drop down area. Click the word category and you will be in the area where you can change your category names etc.
You just fill in the name you want for the category in the first box where it says “category name”
There is more in depth information about posting in future posts. Right now we are just changing default settings.
