Hi hk -
Are you talking about ezinearticles.com? You can click click through to any author’s article list page via their name and then ‘right click’ on the RSS feed symbol (theirs is red rather than orange), select ‘copy link location’ - which copies it for you. Then paste it (’right click’ -> paste) into the RSS feed module.
See if that works for ‘ya

Will I be submitting ezine articles to promote my new blogger blog also then?

Hi Judith -
Everything that you did to promote your lenses would also benefit a blogger blog.
But, I would stop short of the ezinearticles at this point (though you certainly can if you want to). The other stuff will help with indexing and can be done fairly quickly. Stick with just the Day 2 indexing activities (pgs 32-35).
It’s just about time to let that campaign simmer. Yay!

Hello Everybody!
Can I add my RSS feed for my Blogger.com blog to the 3 blogs that PPG is talking about on page 34 of the main guide?
If so, can you show me how to do that?
Also, is it a good idea to promote your ezinearticles.com articles on your lenses?
If so, what is the best way to incorporate them onto your lenses?
-Rebecca.

Hi Rebecca -
I’m not sure about the RSS on the pg34 sites - maybe Jackie will pipe in later on that.
For ezinearticles - sure … that also has a feed, you can use that in the RSS module. Just be sure that there’s a way to get to your affiliate link from the article as well. Requires a domain redirect.
Try going to your author page - there’s a feed symbol there by your name.
You could also link out to the articles individually via the poll module.
Or in a text module with html link.
You could link through that “expert author” image/symbol …
Lots of choices

I’m not at home so I don’t have my OWM in front of me, but are you talking about the 3step ads etc sites?
There is no way to add your RSS feed to those sites. Although the 3 step ads has an RSS feed of all of YOUR posts, and it wouldn’t hurt to add that RSS feed to feedage and feedest.
I would NOT use your eza RSS feed on your lenses, only because you will be writing articles in that account that are about different topics. You don’t want unrelated articles coming up on your lenses.
However, you can take the RSS feed from EZA and submit it to feedage and feedest as well.

I have my EZA account divided up into different author names. So I can wear different hats and the articles for one profile don’t readily show (not sure if there’s a way to back track to the main account or not). It looks to me like each one has its own feed.
Depends on how you want to set up your account.

Hi Jackie,
I am trying to get my RSS from 3StepAd. This is the only thing I can find. When I put my URL in the address bar (that is found in my profile, the RSS button does not show up.
Any Suggetions?

looks to me as though they have disabled the RSS option.

Quick Squidoo Question. With the changes they are fixing to implement with number of links allowed in a lens to 9, will the RSS feeds we are adding going to be a part of those 9 allowed links?

Hi Carole -
As I read it (1st read through, so we’ll get clearer) - it says 9 links to any single site. So that would mean that even if RSS links count, they’re not pointing at your affiliate page so they should be fine.
We’re just going to have to count up the number of links to the same affiliate page and keep it to 9 or fewer - no biggie I don’t think, just have to pay a little closer attention.

Hi Jackie & Andrea,
I just sent a request for technical support from Squidoo. I was unable to republish my lenses after adding the RSS feed module for my blog to my lenses.
If you are aware of any bugs or malfunctions w/in Squidoo today or lately thought I’d ask.
Thanks.

I’d say just try it again. The publish button has been a little finicky lately ~ it usually works on the second time.
